Tasmanian landowners will be encouraged to estimate their carbon impact with the help of a new portal, reports Mirage. The Farm Forestry Carbon Tool and Workforce Development Portal, developed by Tasmania Forestry Hub and Private Forests Tasmania, is part of the Forest Industry Workforce Development and Implementation Plan. The tool allows farmers to estimate their carbon impact and potential tree offset opportunities, while the Workforce Development Portal provides information on employment, training, and apprenticeships in the forest industry.
